The licensed local team behind Plumbers In Campbelltown
Who we are

The people behind
every Campbelltown job

Plumbers In Campbelltown is the local face of a licensed plumbing team that works Macarthur week in and week out, including the estates laid out back to front where knowing which side to park on is half the job.

A licensed plumber for Macarthur, not a call centre.

Ring and a plumber picks up. Not a switchboard collecting your details to hand on to whoever is going cheapest that afternoon, and not a booking service that promises a window somebody else has to keep.

The paperwork carries a real licence number, the insurance exists, and the figure is settled before anyone opens a toolbox. We also ask about your gate, which sounds odd until you have had a tradesman look at a fence and drive away.

Licensed, insured & accountable.

Licensed & registered

NSW Plumbing Licence 368473C. Gas or water, every job is worked to the Australian Standards. Plumbing done without a licence is illegal in this state and it will void a home insurance claim, so the number is worth asking any trade for. Ours is on the quote before you agree.

Insured & to standard

Public liability and workmanship cover are both in place, and we are members of the Master Plumbers Association NSW. The lifetime workmanship warranty is a document you keep, not something somebody says at the door and nobody writes down.

Publicly reviewed

The Google reviews here are Dr Leak Plumbing's, a sister brand of ours. Same owners, same licensed crews, same vans arriving. Sending you to real reviews under another name beat writing a fresh set under this one.

Built by a plumber, run like it.

One licensed plumber and one van started this in 2020, off the back of more than ten years around Sydney. It became a team, and the three things it was built on have not shifted: be there when you said, settle the price first, leave the place as you found it.

Out here we would add a fourth. Ask the awkward questions before setting off, not on arrival. Which door faces the road, how wide the gate is, how far from the kerb the trouble is. Nobody enjoys being asked. Everybody prefers the job getting done in one visit.

“If I wouldn't be happy with the fix in my own home, it's not finished. That's the whole job.”

The plumbing we see across Campbelltown.

Most of what makes plumbing here different is not the pipe, it is the shape of the street. Some of Macarthur was built to a layout used almost nowhere else in Sydney.

1
Five estates were built back to front

Airds, Macquarie Fields, Claymore, Minto and Ambarvale were laid out on Radburn principles between 1972 and 1989. The front door opens onto a walkway and shared green; the back door faces the road.

2
So the van can only reach the fence

Pedestrians and vehicles were separated deliberately. There is no driving to the front door, which means the gate on the street side decides what equipment reaches the job.

3
Which is why we ask before we set off

Which door faces the road, is there a gate, and how wide is it. Three questions, thirty seconds, and it is the difference between one visit and two.

4
Some of the drainage runs under shared ground

Walkways and greens sit between houses rather than behind them, so a line can run out under common open space. A fault there may sit outside your boundary entirely.

5
And the layouts change street by street

From 1995 the state reversed some of these estates through the Neighbourhood Improvement Program, with Minto and Claymore heavily redeveloped. Others were left as built.

6
So your neighbour's place proves nothing

Two houses a hundred metres apart can face opposite ways. We work from what is actually at your address rather than what the street name suggests.

How we work.

1
A licensed plumber on the phone, any hour

Ring at three in the morning and you get someone who can start driving, not a service taking a message for the office to read after nine.

2
Access questions come first

They are not small talk. On these blocks they decide what goes in the van and whether the job finishes today.

3
The price is agreed before we begin

A figure goes to you first and that is what you settle. If what we find changes the work, the new number needs your approval before anyone carries on.

4
And the carry is our problem, not your bill

Where gear has to come in on foot, that is in the quoted price. It never turns up afterwards as an extra for the distance from the kerb.

Who operates this site

"Plumbers In Campbelltown" is a marketing name used to advertise licensed plumbing services supplied by Dr Energy Pty Ltd (ABN 40 679 445 884), trading as Dr Energy Electrical & Plumbing, NSW Plumbing Licence 368473C. All plumbing work booked through this site is carried out under that licence.

The Google reviews shown on this site belong to Dr Leak Plumbing, our sister plumbing brand. Both are run by the same people with the same licensed crews, so those reviews describe the team that will actually turn up.
